VIDEO: 1957 Chevrolet Nomad

Few vehicles say classic California cruising better than a 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. We found this flawless Sierra Gold example, complete with surfboard hanging out the back, at this past February’s ‘Back to the Beach‘ car show, held in Palatine, Illinois, at Arlington Toyota and Scion.

The West Coast car came from Huntington Beach and turned more than a few heads at the event. Despite its now land-locked location, seeing this gleaming machine had us ready to don our swim trunks and paddle out to catch the next wave.
