CRUISE NIGHT: Rolling Meadows, IL
When the highly popular Rolling Meadows cruise night left the old Dominick’s park lot several years back, many auto enthusiasts were left wondering what would happen to the cruising scene in the tranquil suburb community. All can rest assured as we’re pleased to report that it’s back and better than ever. Meadows Christian Fellowship, just one lot east of the former location, restarted the event and the cruisers are flocking out in droves to take part. Now in its second year, the cruise night takes place every Friday night and has just been extended through the end of September. It takes place at the church, 2401 Kirchoff Road, and starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm. Last week was one of the busiest nights of the summer with several hundred vehicles in attendance. To take in all the gleaming show machines, we scrambled up high for a bird’s-eye view of the jammed-packed parking lot.
