VIDEO: 1975 Volkswagen Beetle

Unlike alot of classics, one vintage cruiser that never changed much during its production run was VW’s Beetle. For nearly 65 years it remained mostly unchanged but yet continued year after year to win over the masses with its too-cute styling and nimble driving experience. One enthusiast, Fernando Martinez, fell in love with the bug during frequent visits to his relatives in Monterrey, Mexico. His uncle purchased a 1975 sedan and in 2010, Fernando had the opportunity to take over ownership, and restore, the special family hauler. The folks responsible for the radical transformation were the VW experts at Midwest Autosavers in Cary, Illinois.
