ON THE ROAD: Half-Finished Projects

We found these rusty relics near Wisconsin. It’s not only the gleaming show machines that always catch our eye; oftentimes its the rusty relics that intrigue us most. This motley four-wheeled bunch was found right around the Illinois-Wisconsin border and had us pulling over for a closer look. While they were parked outside of a restoration shop, we’re not sure if these vehicles are on their way to becoming show-room fresh once again or simply stalled projects left to rot in the harsh Midwest elements.

  1. Yes indeed, you found one of my many Mopar projects. That is actually a 69 Monaco 500 convertible, one of only 200 Canada only models from Mother Mopar. It will get it’s turn under the knife in 2013, it deserves to be back on the road putting a smile on my face and others too!
