CRCSE SHOW: Custom Rides Car Show and Expo, Tinley Park IL

It’s no secret that during the winter months in the Midwest, the active cruising scene grinds to a halt. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t vintage and custom auto action. One show that keeps Chicago-area enthusiasts busy during the chilly season is the Custom Rides Car Show and Expo, held at the Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, Illinois. Now in its third year, the event forgoes rigid judging and focuses on family fun to help pass the dreary winter days. We headed down to the show last weekend and found lots of cool rides that we’ll be posting full features on in the very near future. Until then, check out our photo gallery below.

And, just proving how much Chicagoan love their classic cars, we even found some diehards who had driven down and parked outside of the January event! How’s that for dedication?
